Nourishing Your Whole Self: Combining Taoist dietary principles with spiritual practice and personal reflection, cookbook author Marci Izard has created a food philosophy designed around a person's emotional responses. By exploring how food makes you feel, you can better understand your own dining impulses and yourself. The connection between what you eat and how it makes you feel is a universal one, but in order to gain balance and joy in your life, you must acknowledge the relationship and make choices accordingly. Once you become the master of your culinary wellness, you can maintain balance by selecting recipes that support your overall spiritual health.
