The Fifty Shades trilogy features Anastasia (Ana) Steele, a young college graduate who enters into a highly-charged romance with a 27-year-old billionaire, Christian Grey. The story began as Twilight fanfiction before the author expanded it into three novels. With its absorbing characters and moving yet witty storyline, the novels have attracted a passionate following.
