Event address:

Terri SabolChildren's author and former teacher Terri Sabol joins us during storytime to share her book, Oscar and Emmy Get Rescued.

Terri Sabol’s career as an early childhood teacher led to her love of picture books. Rescue cats have always been a part of her life. So it seemed natural to combine the two. Terri lives in Texas with her husband and their two rescue kitties, Oscar and Emmy.  When she isn’t writing, acting, or traveling, Terri is volunteering at an animal shelter or women’s shelter.

Terri is a member of SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators) and SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild).

Follow Oscar and Emmy on their journey from being born to a stray mama cat to being rescued by an animal shelter and then adopted by a loving family. This book not only showcases these two kittens, who will continue in their own Oscar and Emmy book series, but it also educates children and adults on the rescue process and promotes pet adoption. Oscar and Emmy Get Rescued is inspired by the author’s true adoption story of her own two kittens.

A must read for animal lovers, especially if you are considering getting a new pet.

The real Oscar and Emmy!
