Waverly is back and in love, which we know isn't the best grounds for drama--and drama is what makes Waverly interesting. The drama unravels in typical Waverly style--full of laughs, mix-ups, and sarcasm as she starts a new job but still feels a void. Thankfully, Jake, the secret admirer from Perfect on Paper, is there to drive her crazy with romance, except when Waverly jeopardizes their relationship by making an appearance on The Today Show. Does Waverly choose love over professional success? Who is the strange neighbor who moved into Waverly's building? Maria Murnane's second novel ups the laughs, self-deprecation, and sex.
